(Cucumis melo) Sweet Delicious 51 Melon is an heirloom, non-GMO, open-pollinated variety valued for its sweet flavor and aroma. The round or oval fruit weighs 2–3 pounds, has deep orange flesh, creamy texture, thin netted skin, and is ideal for eating fresh, in salads, or smoothies. It grows well in warm, sunny, fertile soil and resists powdery mildew and tolerates Fusarium wilt.
