(Capsicum annuum) The Golden Greek Pepperoncini is a mild, slightly sweet, and crisp heirloom pepper. It grows on productive 4-foot plants and produces thin-walled, bright yellow pods 1-2 inches long at maturity. Typically pickled for use on pizzas, salads, or sandwiches, it offers a gentle heat (100-500 SHU) and versatile flavor.
Peppers are usually grown as annuals in USDA Zones 3–13, preferring full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. While technically tender perennials in zones 10–11, they are mostly cultivated as annuals in zones 4–10.
