(Capsicum baccatum) Aji Sugar Rush Peach is a sweet, fruity pepper with beautiful peach-colored skin, growing up to three inches on tall plants with white summer blooms. Its Scoville rating is 50,000-100,000 SHU, making it hotter than Thai peppers but milder than habaneros. Discovered in Wales around 2012 as a natural mutation of a South American Aji-type pepper.
Aji Sugar Rush Peach peppers grow best as warm-season perennials in USDA hardiness zones 9a-11b, but they can also be cultivated as annuals in zones 4a-11b.
